Format and rules
Teams
- Each team will consist of a team leader and at least 3 members
- Each team will have at least 1 person who has been identified as an “expert” on the TFC mod
- Teams will be decided before the event, but you will not know what team you are on before the day of the event
During the course of the event, each team will be required to build a defensible stronghold that is easily visible on the surface
- Destroying these strongholds is prohibited
- You may remove blocks to search for hidden chests, but you may not take the blocks with you
- You must put the block back where it was (if you do find a hidden chest, you may place it nearby, even leave a sign so they know who found it)

- Looting enemy strongholds is permitted up until the final 24 hours - stock early at your own risk
- Killing a player taking loot to the stronghold is possible
- In the final 24 hours, you may not even enter the stronghold of another team
- This includes PvP inside the strongholds
- The stronghold must be built within 750-block square “radius” of spawn
- You can go 750 in either x or z direction, or both.. i.e if spawn is (0,0), then any coordinate from (-750, -750) to (750, 750) is allowed
- You must “claim” the area for your team’s stronghold by placing brick blocks on the corners of the area you wish to reserve and placing the team’s name on a sign on the block
- You must mark all 4 corners!
- Area limit of 100 x 100 blocks...
- You must be able to clearly see what is the “do not enter” area - add more blocks if needed
- You may not claim a plot within 250 blocks of another
No pvp on day 1 (real-life, not in-game day 1, 1 day = 24 hours..) - including messing with another team’s stuff
Do not break ANY beds!
Trading, team alliances, and even alliance breaking/betrayal is possible and encouraged during the event!
- Should make videos a lot more entertaining, as well as playing the game!
- You can even extend alliances to the final showdown... but it is still last leader standing
Finale
- Finale is August 3rd, 2013 at 1800 EDT
- This year the finale will be a 4-way pvp battle
- The objective is to kill the leader of the enemy team, who will reside in the stronghold that the team built
- Team members can respawn and go at it again however many times they wish
- Once the leader of the team dies that team is out of the event
- Last leader standing wins
Mods - What is and is not allowed
Rei’s minimap is allowed
- Surface view mode only
- No cave view allowed
- No mob/players view allowed
Better Movement is not allowed
Optifine is allowed
Any mods not on this list are not allowed
