I did some testing in my own world. I was able to make some Bronze with 3 Copper(Yellow-xx) & 1 Tin(Very Hot-x). Bronze melts at Orange. The resulting material was Orange-xx.

Not sure what the actual rule is now, but it's not as stated. Does anyone know the actual rule? Maybe it's the average temperature? --JuryDutySummons (talk) 20:33, 28 February 2013 (EST)
