Knapping
Knapping
Knapping is the process of using two rocks to create heads for stone tools. Knapping currently uses the same patterns as plans. Right clicking while holding a stack of two or more rocks will launch a GUI for knapping a rock into a tool head. The tool head can then be attached to a stick to create a stone tool.
Tip: Stone tools do not stack, but tool heads will stack up to 4.
ALERT: Armor, chisels, maces, pickaxes, prospector's picks, saws, scythes and swords are all unable to be made with stone.
Durability of Stone Tools

Some types of stone will result in more durable stone tools than others. This is not immediately apparent, as all stone tool icons look the same.
In order of increasing durability: Sedimentary, Metamorphic, Igneous Intrusive, Igneous Extrusive.
There are many types of stone in each category.
