This does indeed work. Are you sure that you didn't wait too long again and that your vessel re-solidifed? You only have 10 MC hours (about 8 real life minutes) from when the kiln finishes that it actually remains liquid temp. To prove it, try firing your solidified vessel, and actually watching and waiting for the kiln to finish. As soon as it's done burning, pick up your vessel and it will be liquid again. Sleeping through the night also counts towards the solidification timer. --Kittychanley (talk) 08:34, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
